Thunderstar Stages was formed as a Charter Bus Company, June 12, 1996. Not because we planned it but because we were forced to form our own Company. On that fatal day, we had nothing. No job, no money, just a bunch of bills and a DREAM of making the BEST Charter Bus Company in the state.

To quote the famous Dr. King, “I HAVE A DREAM.” That is all we had—a DREAM, no money, no buses, no contracts, no permits, no office, just a DREAM. As we looked at each other, we decided that since we had this DREAM, at least we should follow it and see where it takes us. What do we have to lose? Our comfortable lifestyle? The little voice in that dream kept saying, “Follow Your Dream,” and so we did just that. We questioned that little voice—are we doing the right thing? Are we looking at the big picture? Do we have the ability to go into the Charter Bus Business? All the little voice kept saying was, “Follow Your Dream.” So we did just that. We pulled up our boots, rolled up our sleeves, and never looked back. Our conclusion to this whole things was—what is the worst thing that might happen to us? Well, we might have to go back to work for some bus company that might be worse than where we had been. Or, make our own Dream Bus Company different than most all the rest. First of all, we have to set our Goals and PRIORITIES. What is the most important thing to have, to be the BEST or at least different than most Bus Companies?
